About us

PDFortis is a product of ZINTRA, built in Colombia.

We built it because signing a contract, merging a few documents or redacting a file shouldn't force you to upload private information to strangers' servers. Our tools run inside your browser: the document never leaves your device.

Who it's for

• Individuals: students and workers who need to sign, merge, compress or convert PDFs quickly and for free.
• Professionals and organizations: lawyers, paralegals, notaries, public offices and companies that handle case files, personal data and sensitive documents.

How we're funded

The tools are free and supported by advertising. Ads never have access to your documents.

Technology

We use well-known open-source libraries such as pdf-lib, Mozilla's PDF.js, Tesseract.js for OCR, qpdf for encryption and JSZip.
